Who We Are —
The APSU 2002 Story

A brotherhood forged at Bakaano, built on faith, perseverance, and an unbreakable bond — the St. Augustine's Past Students Union, Class of 2002.

The APSU 2002 Brotherhood

On Monday, 31st January 2000, a group of brilliant boys were ushered into the prestigious St. Augustine's College, Cape Coast — Ghana's first and biggest Catholic secondary school.

This marked the beginning of a holistic training of young men who were taught to imbibe the virtues of grit and hard work as enshrined in the College motto: "Omnia Vincit Labor" (Perseverance Conquers All).

Together, 546 of us successfully graduated from the College after completing our S.S.S.C.E. in August 2002.

We then officially formed the 2002 Year Group of the St. Augustine's Past Students Union (APSU), in 2010.

Ever since, APSU 2002 has remained one of the most vibrant Year Groups of the Union, with outstanding members influencing various spheres of society.

"As custom demands, we shall mark our 25th Anniversary in 2027 by hosting the 97th Anniversary and Speech Day of our beloved St. Augustine's College, which comes with an honour of giving back to the College that made us."

We look forward to this privilege of inaugurating our Legacy Project in grand style, in appreciation for the seeds of success sown in us!
